FIIT FOUNDATIONS
Be your client’s agent of change
Most therapists enter practice feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, and underprepared for the complexity of real clinical work. They are exposed to conflicting guidance, shifting expectations, and approaches that do not translate cleanly into practice. Over time, this creates doubt, inconsistency, and a lack of confidence in how to move with a client in a clear and effective way.
FIIT Foundations addresses this directly.
FIIT gives you a way to determine direction in your work—clearly, confidently, and independently. Rather than relying on prescribed approaches or external opinions, you learn how to think through your clinical decisions and move with intention in each session.
FIIT Foundations provides a structured approach to assessment, engagement, and treatment that can be applied across settings and client presentations. It clarifies the role of the therapist, the nature of therapeutic work, and how to sustain meaningful, effective engagement over time.
This is a stand-alone certification for generalist clinicians and the prerequisite for advancing into full FIIT modality training.
Register for FIIT Foundations and begin practicing with clarity, confidence, and precision.

WELCOME TO FIIT FOUNDATIONS
Our six-month generalist clinician certification and flagship course.
Beginning clinical practice often brings uncertainty, competing guidance, and a lack of clarity about how to move with clients in a consistent and effective way. The complexity of the work, combined with unclear expectations, can make it difficult to feel grounded in your role.
FIIT Foundations provides a clear way forward.
FIIT is not a prescribed approach. It is a way of thinking and working that allows you to determine direction in your clinical work with precision and confidence. It supports you in understanding what is required in each moment and how to respond in a way that is coherent and effective.
You will learn how to assess, engage, and work with clients in a structured way that holds across settings, presentations, and levels of complexity. The focus is not on applying techniques, but on developing the ability to move through clinical work with clarity and intention.
FIIT Foundations is both a stand-alone generalist certification and the prerequisite for advancing into full modality training.
Develop clarity in your thinking, confidence in your decisions, and consistency in your clinical work.
Course Curriculum
The FIIT Foundations curriculum is structured across six modules, each building clinical reasoning capacity through a clear and disciplined progression.
You will move from foundational orientation and core principles into applied clinical reasoning, learning how to assess, engage, and work with clients in a way that is consistent, precise, and adaptable.
Each module includes:
• Core teaching and written material
• Structured concept checks
• Applied case analysis
• Partner-based role play
• Real-time engagement sessions
This structure ensures that learning is not theoretical, but integrated into how you think and work as a clinician.
