FIIT COUPLES CLINICIAN
Be your client’s agent of change
Working with couples often introduces competing needs, conflicting dynamics, and heightened emotional intensity that can make it difficult to determine direction in a consistent and effective way. Without a clear structure, clinicians can experience uncertainty in how to move between partners and maintain coherence in the work.
FIIT Couples addresses this directly.
FIIT gives you a way to determine direction in your work—clearly, confidently, and independently. You will learn how to move with precision within relational systems while maintaining consistency across sessions.
FIIT Couples provides a structured approach to assessment, engagement, and treatment within couple dynamics. It strengthens your ability to sustain meaningful, effective engagement while working with multiple perspectives simultaneously.
This training builds on FIIT Foundations and advances your work into full application of the model within relational systems.

WELCOME TO FIIT COUPLES CLINICIAN
Our clinician certification in the FIIT modality for therapists working with couples clients.
Working with couples introduces competing needs, conflicting dynamics, and heightened emotional intensity that can make it difficult to determine direction in a consistent and effective way. The complexity of relational systems, combined with unclear expectations, can make it difficult to maintain clarity across sessions.
FIIT Couples provides a clear way forward.
FIIT is not a prescribed approach. It is a way of thinking and working that allows you to determine direction in your clinical work with precision and confidence. It supports you in understanding what is required in each moment and how to respond in a way that is coherent and effective within relational systems.
You will learn how to assess, engage, and work with couples in a structured way that holds across dynamics, presentations, and levels of complexity. The focus is not on applying techniques, but on developing the ability to move through clinical work with clarity and intention.
This training builds on FIIT Foundations and advances your work into full application of the model with couples.
Develop clarity in your thinking, confidence in your decisions, and consistency in your clinical work.
Course Curriculum
The FIIT Couples curriculum is structured across six modules, each building clinical reasoning capacity through a clear and disciplined progression.
You will move from foundational application into advanced relational clinical work, learning how to assess, engage, and work within couple dynamics in a way that is consistent, precise, and adaptable.
Each module includes:
• Core teaching and written material
• Structured concept checks
• Applied case analysis
• Partner-based role play
• Real-time engagement sessions
This structure ensures that learning is not theoretical, but integrated into how you think and work as a clinician.
